I spent the day marking exams.
So far I've done 150. (The first section).
90 more to do.
Then there's 3 more sections...
...

On a lighter note - has anyone seen 'The Girl From The Song' on Netflix?
I'm still trying to work out whether it's going to become a cult classic or not.
It treads dangerously close to being corny at times and yet just about, and I mean only just, manages to not cross the line...I think.
Can anyone else back me up on this?

Oof, is it at least easy marking? One of the myriad reasons I couldn't be a teacher is I think I'd gouge my eyes out if I had to mark stacks of essays.

Haven't seen-- or even heard of, before now-- The Girl from the Song. Would you recommend it?

I didn't realise you were a teacher.
What did you teach?
The marking is a mixture of longer and shorter essays.

Yeah, I'd recommend the film, but don't think that it's going to be the best film you've ever seen.

Oh, no, sorry I was unclear, I've never been a teacher. It was something I considered for a bit but ultimately decided not to pursue because it seemed like a worse fit the longer I thought about it. The closest I've been was when I'd help my teachers in high school with some basic marking.
