st_martin_aWork continues to be stressful. I've been doing 11 hour days. : /
This sunny spell is carrying on too - we've gone from 8C last week to 26C this week. Crazy. Thursday was the hottest day in April in 70 years. I made sure that I made the most of it by cycling to work on Thursday and Friday. Otherwise I wouldn't have seen it. I did 40 miles in 2 days. Not bad considering I haven't cycled that kind of distance for a long time.
The cycle ride home on Friday was beautiful. I found a nature trail about half way back that I've never been down before. I didn't go all the way down the trail because it was taking me further and further in the wrong direction but I'm glad I at least explored it a little.
Then today I went out in the garden to catch the last bit of sun before the downpour we had this afternoon. It's still warm though. Who knows how long it will continue.
