Controversial ground

I don't want to cause a riot amongst my lj friends but you may remember that I don't like Harry Potter - the books or the films.
So my oldest son persuaded me read J K Rowling's 'The Casual Vacant'. It's the holiday. I could do with something to read. So, I'm giving it a go. It seems alright so far...
Anyone read it?

I've not read that one. Let me know if it ends up being good. I've not read the HP books (only got through half of the first one), but loved the films. Yet I'm not a fanatic who cares if others aren't into it. To each their own.

After all, It's okay if you don't like fun and nice things. ;p lol
