Spanish group was busy this week. There were 13 of us.
There's an English girl called Serena who met a Spanish guy called Christian at the group years ago when we first started it. They are now married and I hadn't seen them in about a year. They came along and Serena is due to have a baby in 2 weeks. It was great to see them again.
There was another new couple from Spain too; in their late 20s I think (I'm not good at guessing ages); they were very friendly.
Christina de Valencia also came, with her English boyfriend (they didn't meet at the group).
My friend Reg, who is a similar age to me and who I get on with very easily.
Paige, Mick and Austin (the hard-core of the group) and Ana de Dominica (who came for the first time last week).
It was very noisy. In fact, that's one of the words i taught Ana (who can't speak English) - 'ruido'. :)

I'm just trying to tidy the house up this weekend. Relax a bit.

Something I'm looking forward to is I've been invited by the reverend of the Anglican church that my school is attached to, to do a sermon there. I've never spoken in an Anglican church before and wasn't even sure if I would be allowed to. The main difference between the Anglican church and ours, as far as I understand it, is that ours is much more informal. I hope I don't make any wrong moves. : / I've also been asked to do the sermon at my brother's wedding in May. That's also going to be in an Anglican church I believe. Next thing you know, I'll be walking around in a dog-collar. Lol.

It is weird for me to see so many people trying to learn Spanish. I though it was interesting just for few people

It can be such a different atmosphere in a more strict, religious setting. I bet you will do just fine though! : )

It was a non-denominational, Pentecostal-type church. So people speaking in tongues and at times casting out demons, prayer lines. Things of that nature. Nothing formally traditional like with methodists, lutherans, etc...More free-form than that. Long services also, and often church dinners afterward. Back then it was very judgmental though of things like how women dressed, homosexuality, etc...
