Bono

Tomorrow is my preach. The first one I've done at my church for about a year. And the person leading the first part of the service is a guy called Ciaran. Ciaran's nice enough but he often seems to be on the lookout for heresy...
He recently complained about a worship song that we sang in church because it was written by someone who apparently had dodgy theological views. And another song that had too much of a "new-age feel"!?&¥ New-age feel...?
Anyway, I had to liaise with him about what we were doing on Sunday and I told him that I wanted to play a song from a cd at the end.
He asked me what it was and I told him it was 'One' by U2.
He said, "oh yes, they have quite a few Bible references in their songs don't they..."
"That's right" I said, breathing a sigh of relief.
Then I got an email the other day from him saying that I might want to check the story about Bono's alleged tax evasion before I played his song on Sunday!?
I saw this on Twitter: "Bono caught up in #ParadisePapers scandal, though despite their best efforts, authorities still haven’t found what they’re looking for". Lol.
I was going to reply to Ciaran's email but I don't want to get into a debate about it.
Hopefully it'll work out ok.
