"I usually accept people on the basis of their self-images, because their self-images have more to do with the way they think than their objective-images do" - Andy Warhol

One of my Dw friends mentioned their Carl Jung based psychology type recently. I remember taking part one of these tests on a course a few years ago and seem to remember being INFP (introvert, intuitive, feeling, percieving).
I found an online version and took it again and sure enough it said I was.
It would be interesting to see what my other Dw/lj friends are in comparison. If you're interested, it can be done here:
http://www.humanmetrics.com/cgi-win/jtypes2.asp
You don't have to type in any security based questions or anything like that and it takes 2 minutes.
I've read up a bit on INFP types and I reckon 95% of it is dead right.
Strangely though, it reckons my ideal partner is ENFJ...an extrovert type...I'm not convinced...

Edit: Apparently well-known INFP personalities include:
William Blake, Shakespeare, Van Gogh, St Augustine, Kurt Cobain, Ian Curtis, John Lennon, Robert Smith, Johny Depp, Bjork, Tori Amos, Edgar Allan Poe, David Lynch, Andy Warhol, Morrissey and Marlon Brando.
I'm in good company. : )

I've taken these kind of tests before. I'm INFJ, most of what it says describes me pretty well.

Your list of fell INFPs are quite impressive! I love nearly everyone on that list! So cool. : )

It would seem all four people who replied to you are INFJ! I guess journalling is a pretty INFJ thing. It's also interesting that nattalie and warrior_g0ddess are friends of mine too, and although we've only just met, I do feel I relate and connect quite well with both. That might explain it!

Also apparently my preference of feeling over thinking is slight (16%), which makes sense. I think I can preference both depending on the situation. Probably more of a feeler in general though. :)

Oh, I meant to try that ages ago. Just did it now and got INFJ (introvert, intuitive, feeling, judging). Apparently I have only slight preferences for introversion over extroversion, intuition over sensing, feeling over thinking and judging over perceiving. All either a twelve or nineteen percent difference. I'm kinda more curious about slight versus great differences in preferences than the types themselves...

Also interesting, the career choices ideal for my personality type are all careers I've considered! Good to know, honestly.
